Modeled after New York architect S. Flavio Espinoza’s “Suburban Loft” HOME House, Northside architect Alice Emmons modified his design to fit the Chase and Fergus site. Completed in 2008, both houses sold to single-family homeowners the same year, within less than 6 months from the date of completion.

The HOME Houses' features include

• Three bedrooms

• Two baths

• Laundry facility on the 2nd floor

• Approximately 1,475 square feet

• Off-Street Parking and Parking Pad

"Green" features include:

• Innovative and high performance contemporary design

• Construction with environmentally friendly building materials

• Paint and building products that are low-VOC (volatile organic compounds)

• Water to air - high efficiency heating system

• Dual flush toilets

• Natural ventilation

• High efficiency appliances

• Universal Design features on the first floor

• Drought-resistant landscaping
